This product seems to work well! Our 4 Shetland ponies have for years suffered with itching problems resulting in badly rubbed manes and tails, and over zealous mutual grooming/biting each other. I fed this early in the year so that the herbs and garlic really got into their system. The flies land occasionally but don’t stay for long, certainly as good as fly sprays which tend to wear off. The product spells great and the horses enjoy eating it.

I think it is too soon for it to have worked, yet, there are still the same amount of flies around him, so he still needs fly-sheet. fly-mask and about half a pint of fly spray per day!

Fly formula really does work! I thought there wasn't many fly's around this summer as my guy's weren't really being bothered by them , so when I came to the end of the tub didn't carry on with another. Within a week they were being bothered by the pesky fly's and I was buying more spray's and cream's. I ordered some more fly free and within 2 days my horse's were much happier again. It doesn't stop the fly's completely as we'd all like a miracle but it does lower them considerably. Happy horses, happy owners 🐴🐴🐴

I was concerned at first that it would not help as I have tried other types of fly supplement, and I was not sure my horse would like it in his feed, my boy has a bad reaction to flies so thought I would try it and it really has made a difference, he never has any fly bites and is much happier out in the field without panicking about the flies , and he likes it so I am happy because my horse is happy so thank you feed mark for a great product

The fly formula seems to be a bit of a slow burner, but after 3 weeks of use we've noticed the flies are less visible and don't are not causing as much irritation, so I'm going to continue using for the remainder of the summer/autumn and restart adding to the food again in the spring.

This product smells very nice. And the horses certainly like it. It definitely has a smell of garlic. I started feeding it early in the spring so that it was well and truly in their system. I think it works very well, there are fewer flies bothering them and those that do don’t land on the and bite them. I would definitely recommend this product and will continue using it.

Our horses live near a river and we swarms of flies. I’ve used this for a few years now from March - September and it really reduces the numbers on the horses. I can tell it works as when we’ve had a new one added to the herd they have the higher concentration of flies on them.

It looks and smells a bit like sage and onion stuffing and it doesn’t taste half bad (yes I’ve tried it) and I would go as far as to say, you could use it to season your Sunday chicken and no one would be any the wiser. Does it work? - yes it does. Flies are visibly more reluctant to land, even after only 36 hours of using it. The added benefit is that they all love it. Even if it wasn’t great as a fly repellant, it really improves the palatability of their feeds and we get 3 highly polished empty bowls.

Fly Formula is given to our horses as we prefer to work from the inside out rather than spray the horses with chemicals. Nijmegen has a small amount of sweetitch on her tail and spraying her with fly spray irritates the sweetitch. Fly Formula is much kinder - and it works.

Smelt promising. Started with small dose gradually increasing until required recommend does met. Don't know how long it takes to get into the system but after three weeks still about the same number of flies bothering horses.

Good stuff. The flies land but do not seem to bite. I have used this for several summers on a thin skinned Chestnut TB and on a hairy piebald cob. We have pigs on the farm nearby so lots of flies
