Horse Of The Week - Ollie.

Ollie is a 22-year-old, Thoroughbred cross Irish Draught.  He stands at 16hh and has been owned by Ellie Beatty for the last 13 years.  This Irish Sports Horse is retired from competing, but enjoys hacking and giving ‘schoolmaster lessons’ to students that are studying for their NVQ in Horsemanship. Ollie has been rather successful at past competitions.  Ellie told us: “He qualified for the National Combined Training Championships at Elementary Level.  He also got to compete at the British Dressage Regionals, and at the BSJA (now British Showjumping) Second Rounds. Not only this, but Ollie has also evented up to BE100.
